$PIKDAY
Nintendo just made November 1 Pikmin Day. Three ones, three little sprouts. In this garden the market cap plucks them out of the soil, and together they carry one bag home.

Drops at launchWhat just happened
No big movie. Something cuter.
Everyone is asking about a Pikmin movie. There is no feature film announced. What Nintendo did drop is a surprise Direct, a brand new holiday and a series of animated shorts. Here is the timeline as reported.
Close to You
Two mystery shorts appear on Nintendo channels: a baby chases a bouncing pacifier, and the second reveals tiny sprouts carrying it. It was the first short from Nintendo Pictures.
The surprise Pikmin Day Direct
Announced roughly ten minutes before it aired. No new game, but a new look at Pikmin 4 on Switch 2, a Pikmin Bloom update with secret caves, and Miyamoto himself on screen.
Pikmin Day + Hello! Pikmin
Nintendo declares November 1 Pikmin Day: three ones, like three Pikmin. The Hello! Pikmin animated shorts kick off, made with Nintendo Pictures, shown on Nintendo Today.
Episode two
A second Hello! Pikmin short follows later in November.
Dandori Academy
Pikmin 4 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy launches. All four mainline Pikmin games play natively on Switch 2.
One short every month
From December on, a new Hello! Pikmin short is planned every month.

The sprout math
The market cap is the gardener.
sprouts = 3 + 12 × log10(1 + MC / $1K)
Three sprouts at launch, because 11/1 has three ones. Every 10x plucks twelve more. The bag grows with the market cap too, and the number above it works like the carry counter: carriers on the left, the weight on the right. Once enough hands grab it, it moves.

$1M · 39 sprouts
Full bloom. Petals rain over the garden and every head wears a flower.
- 🧅
Golden Onion
$100M · 63 sprouts

- ✨
Every day is Pikmin Day
$1B · 75 sprouts

Dandori
The plan, in four sprout steps.
- 1
Pluck
Every sprout starts in the soil. Someone has to pull it out.
- 2
Line up
Alone you carry nothing. Fall in behind the bag.
- 3
Carry
Lift together, walk together. The counter only moves when enough hands are on it.
- 4
Home by sunset
Memes are wild. Bring only what you can afford to lose, and do your own research.
